Senior attorney Robin Day Glenn helps franchisors and franchisees resolve disputes by serving as a neutral selected by the parties. Ms. Glenn has been an arbitrator and mediator with Franchise Arbitration and Mediation, Inc., since 1998 and an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association (AAA) since 1998. She is a member of a special franchise advisory panel to the AAA which helps identify and qualify outstanding neutrals in franchise and distribution law. She also arbitrates international franchise disputes for the International Centre for Dispute Resolution
Ms. Glenn's extensive legal writing over the years has prepared her to quickly understand the law that applies to franchise disputes. More than 20 years of experience in the field help her recognize and appreciate the business realities that underlie franchise conflicts. In arbitrations, this reduces the time and expense that the parties must incur to educate the arbitrator. In mediations, she uses her experience to help the parties craft solutions that might not occur to a mediator who is unfamiliar with franchising.
