Robin Day Glenn
Robin Day Glenn is the senior attorney of the Franchise Law Team. She has practiced domestic and international franchise and distribution law since 1984. She obtained her B.A. at New College in Sarasota, Florida, her J.D. at the University of California at Davis and her LL.M. in International and Comparative Law at Georgetown University, where she was a Research Fellow of the International Law Center.
Ms. Glenn authored the chapter on “Drafting Franchise Agreements” for CEB’s forthcoming California Franchise Law Handbook. Currently, she serves as vice chair of the Franchise and Distribution Law Advisory Commission of the State Bar of California's Board of Legal Specialization. She is a past chair of the State Bar of California's Franchise Law Committee and has served on the Governing Committees of its International Law Section and Business Law Section. She has been the Contributing Editor for Franchises of CEB's California Business Law Reporter since 1991 and wrote the "Franchises" chapter of Bancroft Whitney's California Transactions Forms. She serves on the Franchise Advisory Panel of the American Arbitration Association and is a mediator and arbitrator for that organization and for Franchise Arbitration and Mediation, Inc. She has been an active member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Franchising since 1984, contributing articles to the Forum's Franchise Law Journal as well as many other publications.
Yasmine F. Ayubi
Yasmine F. Ayubi joined the Franchise Law Team as an associate attorney in 2005. She was admitted to the State Bar of California in June 2005, after graduating with high class rankings from Chapman University School of Law and George Agyros School of Business in 2005 with a joint JD/MBA degree. She is a member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, the Business Law Section of the State Bar of California and the International Law Society. Yasmine earned her B.A. degree from Chapman University in May 2001. From 2001 to 2005, she also served as an interpreter between English, Pashto and German in depositions, court proceedings and hearings. She also speaks French and Spanish.
Forrest M. Beeson
Forrest M. Beeson has been our firm administrator and quality manager since July 2004, but he has been a supporting member of the Franchise Law Team since its inception. He is a member of the American Society for Quality, which certified him as a Quality Manager in 2002, and was the recipient of numerous other awards, certifications and honors during his his 25-year career at Steelcase, Inc., where he was a senior quality engineer. Drawing upon his education in engineering and architecture and the creativity that makes him a talented photographer, Forrest has twice redesigned the Team's offices. He handles all our purchasing, accounting, billing, and personnel matters and supervises IT and facilities functions. He also leads the Team meetings.
Cheryl J. Briggs
Cheryl J. Briggs has been a member of the Franchise Law Team for ten years. She is a certified paralegal under the rules established by the State Bar of California and a member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Franchising. Her extensive knowledge of the administrative requirements for assembling and filing franchise-related applications of all types and in all states makes her a valuable member of the Team.
